Slower weekend this time around, unfortunately, we had two cancellations but of course, we fished anyway! Within the first minute of baits hitting the water, Tiffany started the trip off with a huge Cownose Ray. After that, we managed a few smaller Sandbar Sharks… Then the night fell silent. Overnight we saw a whole lot of nothing, but as soon as the sun came up, dolphins pinned a pod of bunker up against the beach.. We snagged a few, chunked them up and it was game on for the next few hours. We lost count at 6 sharks. All in all it was a great trip considering it was 4th of July weekend and we still had the moon. Expect action to continue to improve as the waning moon progresses.
