In a world dominated by Instagram and TikTok, it’s been a very long time since a post has been made directly on the website. Well… Here is that long overdue post. If you’re new here, welcome! If you’re not, thank you for sticking around.
To begin, I would like to officially announce that Apex Anglers is now available for booking 7 days a week year-round. This is nothing new for the New Jersey summer months, but now you can enjoy your favorite experience the rest of the year down here in Florida.
With that being said, if you’re not big on social media, you may have missed out on all of the reports in recent seasons. Each year we have had nothing short of triple digit sharks in the summer season (Jersey) alone, with 2022 being the biggest concentration of large sharks to date. The winters (Florida) have been absolutely FILLED with Blacktip action, with Bull, Lemon, Hammerhead, and the occasional Tiger shark filling in the gaps. In 2020 and 2021 we were also lucky enough to be graced by the presence of a modern day dinosaur, Sawfish, and ultimate predator, the Great White shark, respectively. This lends credence to the idea that no matter how long you spend around the ocean, there will always be surprises lurking nearby. Personally, that’s what keeps me so obsessed, and why calling it quits at the end of the night always haunts me… I mean… What if?
With more time on the beaches than ever before, it allows for more informed decisions that will positively impact where, when and how we will go about catching you the fish you’re after. Investing back into the business and this experience is what it has all been about for the past year. Now equipped with drones, we can get baits to places we never could before, in conditions we never could before. We can also get cool aerial shots as you do battle or during the release process. These things have made an amazing impact in how we operate, and in return it gives you far more fishing time than ever before.
I will make it a point to post updates and fishing reports here going forward, but in the meantime for more instant action updates, please follow on Instagram, as that doesn’t require a laptop, and being on the beach so often, is much easier to upkeep.
Thanks for reading and as always…
See you on the sand,
-AJ
