Well, once again the days we once looked forward to are almost over… Mid August, we meet again! Where the time goes so quickly is a mystery, but here we are. What a week!!! Sandbars, the season’s first Dusky, and we even saw a Spinner! We fished six out of seven nights last week and it started off with a stormy night, where we fished in the pouring rain (and lightning). All I can say is that if you want to catch a shark, NOW is the time! In the past two nights alone we’ve landed 29 sharks. The baits are lucky to soak for 10 minutes. If we fish more than one rod, we are doubled up at least a few times per night. Fish are generally ranging from 4 to 5 feet in length, but fish up to 8′

Haven’t had much time for an update lately, but here are some photos of what’s been going on this week. The water temps have finally reached their usual summertime peak, and as expected, the shark action has improved greatly. The sharks are generally a bit smaller, but they are great fighters.
